|Beakie and Dr Honeydew vs. the Total Perspective Vortex
Mad Scientess Jane Expat
Here is a thing on my desk that is making me happy. Behold! The UNIVERSE. (Universe provided by purplecthulhu with the assistance of the Planck spacecraft.)
Why does it appear that God applied the microwave patterns with a sponge? Does he read the Universal equivalent of "Renew" magazine.

Re: The Universe
Inaccuracy is not the only problem with these universes. They were also late. All 5000 of them failed to arrive on time.

The Universe CanNot Be Late
Hey, before the "universes" arrived there was no time, right? I failed college physics, but you have to have an event to have time, don't you? There can't be an event before the universes arrive, at least that's what the UPS guy said.
I got the Muppet Lab (plus Beakie and Dr Honeydew) as presents back when I was still in the States. They've traveled a long way to stay with me!

To answer your question elsewhere, it may have been at 9Worlds this past weekend?
Sadly not, as we're still on our year in Germany - back to London next month.
In time for Worldcon in London next summer then... :-)

I was and your talk there definitely deserved a multitude of likes. And then I discover that the title of your LJ contains 3!! references that I adore. Bravo!!
That is a missing feature on LJ, isn't it!
I love my desk. It has Nightmare before Christmas and Simpsons in Space figurines on the monitors, a Lego space shuttle and the Muppet Lab. :D
That would be cool if it lit up. Still, it's an awesome piece!
You mean the Muppet Labs or the inflatable universe? Or both? :D
