Mad Scientess Jane Expat
Kissy kissy, dahhling. This is my tribute to the awesome rubbishness of Star Trek speciation, in which drawing a few squiggly coloured lines on your face is enough to make you into an alien.
...the creature appears to be alien, Captain, although I've yet to ascertain the one-note, cardboard character trait that every single member of its species will demonstrate.
I believe its mask is interfering with my tricorder reading. I cannot determine the topography of its identofying forehead bumps...
...I think it's trying to kiss me. Back in five minutes, Captain.
No redshirt, noooOOOOooooooo!
Dammit, there goes another crewmember. How many times do I have to tell you lot? Do not kiss the alluring monster women, they will suck all the salt from your body.
You know, that sounds quite rude; it's the plot of the Man Trap, I tell you.
Not that I'd know. More a Doctor WHo fan, me.
As long as I put the emPHAsis on the right sylLAble, hey?
I love that mask, it's incredible. If only I still had my own, it's packed up in a box somewhere in my grandfather's house in Hawaii.
I love masks. I would collect them, except I know I'd just use them for photographs and nothing else and then I'd end up with a huge pile of them, for which I don't really have the space.
Alien contessa FTW.
Oh, and I got your photo card, thank yooou! And yes, I'm going to do another six-month (or however long it's been) wrap-up of my First Year Abroad(TM) sooner or later. Gotta run errands today, and deal with the streets of Wellington actually being crowded due to holidays.
Oh wow, it arrived before Xmas! I'm amazed. I'm pretty sure the ones I sent out yesterday won't get to the US in time, but better late than never.
I look forward to the wrap-up post.
Very nice! I love the styling and the wig!
Thank you. It's funny, I never thought I'd get into costuming or makeup, seeing as I never used to bother much with either, but I'm finding it most enjoyable for this project.
These are the first shots I've seen of you, ever (admittedly, I've been very hit-or-miss as of late) that haven't looked like you. I'm thrown off, anyway. It isn't until I see them in larger form that I can recognize your eyes. Otherwise? You are someone else. Dun know what I think about that. *head-tilt*
It's quite strange! I've never before been good enough at costuming & makeup to make that complete a transformation. It weirds me out, too.
