It's good to be able to submerge properly, I must admit.

Padmini's favourite bath tub game is to plodge around in the water as it is draining and then go and walk all over the lemur with cold wet paws.

Ack! Poor lemur. I sympathize. As soon as my feet hit the bathmat, my toes become fair game a second time. And forget drying my hair with the towel. I might as well dry it with the cats.

He looks like he's just about to pull the plug out on you! Do they like the water? My cats like to go into the shower when it's going, but in between the shower curtain and the liner, so that only their feet get wet.

He would pull the plug if he knew how. He loves it when the water goes out of the tub.

The cats don't want to be in the shower when it's on, but they're not afraid to dip their front paws into the full tub up to their elbow, or to walk around in it when the water's mostly gone out and is only an inch or so deep.

I think he's helpfully pointing at your foot, not sure why. Maybe he's trying to say...

'You missed a bit, there.'

or

'...and this little piggy stayed at home..."

or

"oh. Look, your foot is bigger than my paw"

or

'rrrRRRrrrr.... naked foot!'

Tangential to that last, nakedness and context interact strangely. You're not typically wearing gloves when I see you. And yet, in the first picture, because you're in the bath...

...you have naked fingers (gasp)! ;)

Naked fingers and naked toes have now been publicly posted on the internet. Whatever next?!

...Where are my pills?

Yes, I miss writing them but I just never get the time :(

I update facebook all the time as it's on my phone so easy to do. If you're on there and want to we can add each other?

I am there. I must admit, I only check it about once every two weeks but it'll mean we interact a bit more frequently! I'll PM you with my FB page.

RAWR! I have two stalwart defenders. Well, two defenders. Well, not really defenders, they're too easily distracted. Two...um...things with pointy bits that will probably purr and rub your ankles if you're nice to them, so they're a bit useless really.

LOL, there's no way Talisker would get anywhere near that close to a full bath, voluntarily. Having said that, he has taken to sleeping in it sometimes, when it's suitably dry, and one of these days it's possible he's going to miscalculate and jump straight in when it's full. :-)

You should keep a camera in the bathroom in anticipation. But of course, you won't be fit to operate it then because you'll be laughing until you cry.

I usually say SPUHTnik to him, but I have a Russian friend around whom I daren't pronounce it as anything other than SPOOTnik. :D

Has he ever fallen in the tub?

My mother's dog looks for any excuse to get into the bathtub. One morning while my mom was showering, she turned to find the pup sitting in the tub behind her.

Yes, he has! He fell in when he was about 9 weeks old, poor little chap, and the water was very hot. He's only recently gotten over it enough to sit on the edge of the tub.

He's sure of himself for the moment. It's been a long time since he fell into the bath as a kitten.
