[with a hint of |Boris Johnson vs 2 Anonymous DJs - Is Fatboy Slim a DJ?]

I had to say goodbye to my boys this morning. They're leaving this afternoon to spend three weeks with their grandparents in Norfolk. After witnessing the fun they had with six acres to roam when we brought them there over Easter, I have a feeling they won't be all that homesick, though they did spend an unusual amount of time weaving in and out of my legs while I was making breakfast this morning. (I don't discount the possibility that, sensing my vulnerability, they were simply trying to get more gooshy food out of me.) I, on the other hand, am distinctly wibbly.

All sweetness & light

Love that pic. Aren't those angelic faces worth a little more gooshy food? ;)

Probably, but if I gave in to that impulse every time I had it, they would be roly-poly instead of the lean, sleek killing machines that they are...waaaait a minnit.

They're irrepressible. The bloke told me that, despite the plan to keep them indoors for a couple of days until they acclimated, they were trying to escape out the windows and down the wisteria this morning.

Awww! I miss our cats terribly when we go anywhere!

Hopefully your bags will have lots of new and exotic smells for them when you come back!

I wish I could carry them in my rucksack. I know they'll be very excitable when we pick them up after our return!

Hello! Well done - none of us were as think as we drunk we were. Or something.

I'm going to miss Sputnik & Telstar, but I don't think they'll miss me too much, what with the supply of gooshy food we sent off with them and a couple of tender-hearted grandparents.
