The Solar Story at the National Maritime Museum

Attention Londoners, Cantabrigians and Other Interested Parties,

I propose a trip to the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich to see the Solar Story exhibition, described thusly:

An exhibition of striking images telling the story of our attempts to understand the nature of the Sun and its effects on Earth. From early observations, via key work carried out at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich and on to the latest discoveries from NASA's fleet of spacecraft, this exhibition investigates changing answers to questions about the size, structure, life-cycle and energy source of our nearest star, on which all life on Earth depends.

It's free and it's on until Sunday 9 May. I've selected some potential dates for a visit. None of these are on weekends as I am otherwise engaged every weekend until the exhibition finishes. Museum hours are from 10:00 to 17:00. I suggest meeting around 11 AM, taking in the exhibit and then having a bite to eat before heading back to work, but if people prefer to meet in the afternoon & go for a pint afterward, I can do that too.

ETA: I'm quite interested in going with non-sciencey people, as I'm happy to wander around squeeing at all the lovely images. I don't expect erudite high-flying physics-based commentary.

Please fill in the poll so I know your availability. I'll choose the most popular date on Monday of next week.
