I'm sorry I had to keep it a secret from you, dear internet friends. But now you know. I became a parent to two adorable little boys today.

This is Telstar.

And this is Sputnik.

And now if you'll excuse me, I have to attempt to rescue Sputnik from his reflection without disturbing Telstar, who fell asleep instantly in my lap.

And a little bit stupid. Sputnik keeps trying to dunk his whole face in the water bowl when he drinks.

I miss having kittens around. Those two look like holy terrors. Guard your fingers and toes.

The bloke found them in the chimney last night. They were absolutely filthy.

Telstar discovered he could ride around in my cleavage last night. I'm not sure I want to post pictures of that.

I keep thinking the noises they make are a joke. Especially when they growl.

Oh, cute little fluffy kitten-ness. I don't think Talisker would appreciate the competition however, if I got a kitten!

Probably not. These two are littermates and they still fight for attention all the time anyway!

Am very tempted to break my normal rules and post video, as the attempts at growling and hissing when they're chasing the sparkly ball that I bought for them are hilarious.

Yes! I was not totally convinced about adopting kittens since I usually go for the virtuous adult-shelter-cat option. But then they arrived. AWWW!

Ahh welcome to my world. Get ready for the tantrums, the fights and being divebombed in the middle of the night :D

Enjoy.

Oh and pingpong balls are still the bestest toy in the world.

They will be spending their nights locked in the kitchen. We're both allergic (brilliant, eh?) so they aren't allowed in the bedroom.

Pingpong balls. Noted. We only have a couple of sparkly soft balls and they have been very nearly destroyed after two days.

I fell over laughing. He was all fluffed up and hissing. It was a distinctly unthreatening performance.
