Captain Obvious Says Mind The Stepladder

I think my favourite part of this whole setup is the disabled sign on the ground with the arrow pointing away from the stepladder. Well, yes, clearly.

Today, I have rediscovered this song (Empirion - Narcotic Influence) and am marveling that it was released in 1993. It can't have been 15 years. It just can't.

was there any indication that this was only a temporary measure and that they did intend to have proper steps one day...?!

crap. now you woke up my imagination.

all the people in vienna have legs like spiders and think nothing of stepping up into buildings. high thresholds keep the bugs out. the ladder is just there for tourists.

or maybe someone really hated shoveling snow, so just built the door higher, hang having to climb up and down in summer...

I was going to make a joke about having somewhere to hide the bodies, but given recent events, I reconsidered.

No, there wasn't. It looked like it had been that way for a long time. I find the stains on the wall underneath the door a little disturbing as well...

That's... quite odd.

OH! And I got your postcard, thank you! I love how a select handful of people now associate me with eggs via my art ;)

It's a very clean and tidy, but also completely defective, design. Who knows why it was built like that, but they've clearly adapted to it and are content to leave it as it is.

You're welcome.

I think I heard it at KF? I'm not sure. Did you hear it at a club?
