I swear I'll get back to the comments on the previous post, but I'm way too excited about this to wait.

Last night, imyril and her boy gave me a copy of Banlieue 13.

This is not by any means a Film. It is a Flick. The plot is thin. There is a lot of pretty. However, the first ten minutes of it features some of the most phenomenal action I've ever seen. The actor who plays one of the two protagonists is the developer of the French (martial) art called Parkour, which is related to "free running" and...

You know what, I'm managing to make this sound really boring. Here's the summary:

Hot, fit, half-naked Frenchmen run around Paris for 81 minutes. This cannot be bad.

Dood! I just watched that last week! It was AMAZING! And yeah, yeah, blah, blah, no plot, but DOOD! Fucking this guy would be an Olympic sport!

I guess you could call this a French martial art, since it is mostly designed for running away.
