Beware the tiny vinyl toy that lurks in the shadows over an unfinished canvas, waiting for an errant paintbrush, or possibly a spray can, to attempt to make a mark. (This is what a diet of Lemsip, soup and blueberries does to my brain.)

Mini Dokuro

Going through my journal for the purpose of repairing the broken image links has been liberating, mostly because I deleted a whole pile crap entries. However, I also got to relive some of my finer journaling moments, which is great because my capacity for written expression seems to be declining in direct proportion to my increased capacity for visual expression.

I'm sick and I still have a mountain of things to do before the end of the month, but on the other hand, I'm going to visit ripperlyn in Edinburgh over Easter. There will be five days of whisky and writing and photography in the company of a fabulous hostess. Oh, heavenly.

Well, if it's any comfort, he's only about two inches tall. I'm pretty sure if it came down to a tussle, you could take him.

Glad you enjoyed them! My f-list has mutated a lot since I made some of those posts so I figured sharing them again would amuse.

WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT TOY? That is so weird! But I love the pic.

I try to go back through my journal from time to time to delete crap/meme entries, throw tags on others or put them into memories, or change the security level. I enjoy it.

I'm starting to think I'm due for another total icon dump. Maybe in a month or so...

Something from the warped brain of Junko Mizuno!

Yeah, I'm almost done with my latest journal overhaul. I think of it as editing the rough draft of my autobiography. I don't even care if no one but me ever reads it. :-)

Dumping all your icons, deleting crap entries, re-writing your profile - all are liberating and refreshing.

Thank you! It's my next project, now that I've got (I think, anyway) a decent handle on the functions of my camera - learning about lighting techniques. I think I can pretty easily build myself a few tents, and get some foamcore to use as reflectors. When I dream up a shoot that justifies the expense, I plan to rent some gear from the pro shop and have a go on it, to help me decide what items I might wish to own.

Melikes the little purple guy... hermanos 'n' all that. In fact, he may be a member of my cute zombie brigade- don't say I didn't warn ya if he spits chocolate and eats all your coffee beans.

Your post roll-up packed a good smile.

get well.

I think he may also have a taste for loose-leaf tea. My stocks of gen mai cha and Earl Grey have run disturbingly low rather quickly.

A diet of Lemsip I might try even if I wasn't sick. That stuff could stop wars it's so magical.

I would agree with you - it's magic when I'm sick - except that I tried it once when I wasn't, hoping to head off a cold, and I found it absolutely disgusting because I had a sense of smell. Heh.

Ha! I agree that it's somewhat repellent when fully functioning, but I've never tried it hoping to head off a cold... only managed to pry open the package and be functioning long enough to imbibe it when a cold has fully attacked me.
