oh, look at me, trying not to giggle [and failing horribly!]
No no, it's not giggling. It's smiling mysteriously.
That little quirk at the corner of her mouth is so very her. :-D

... yet another shot that would work nicely as a basis for a charcoal drawing
Any stolen moments involving a sparkly P bass?
Did your zoom take a bad bump?
You know, I wish I'd thought of that in the first place. We may have to scrap the original idea and go with that one. Hers has little pink dinosaurs on it.
The telephoto zoom (40-150 mm on the Four Thirds sensor; 80-300 mm full-frame equivalent) never worked properly in the first place. When I first tried it, I had just received the camera and though I must be doing something wrong. Later I determined that I wasn't being stupid and it really was a fault with the lens. I mailed it back to Olympus and they did a complete overhaul. Now it's fine and sharper overall than the 14-45 mm (28-90 mm), making me hanker even more strongly for a separate wide-angle lens, as I'm shooting a lot of the Stolen Moments at the lowest end of its range.
WOW what a stunning shot, and girl...is she single? ;)
She's stunning, but she isn't single. Sorry! ;-)
That is a BEAUTIFUL photo. You should give sparklepbass
a blow-up for her parents.
hehe better yet you should swap her a blow-up for a bag.
LOVE the little crook in her smile.
It's already been mentioned, but I too thought a photo for the folks was a good idea. :)
It's the key to her expression, I think.
The photo for the folks has been sent, and, I suspect, probably printed and framed already!
Ooooooooh, purty lady. Nice shot.
Thank you. I tried framing it a few different ways. This was my favorite.
Thank you. (Er, at least, I'm assuming that was a positive sentiment.)
Thats fantastic! I'm going to get you to do the Typewriter promo photography for sure!
I would love to do that. I would also like to do a shoot with you at some point very soon, although I know you're really busy and tired at the moment so I haven't wanted to push the idea at you. Let me know if you have a couple of hours free in the next two weeks.
i love this. when you start ordering prints, i'd like to order an additional print of this :)
Of course. I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to handle the printing aspect yet. I'll probably take them to TeamWork, as I imagine that will be a cheaper way to go than purchasing my own equipment. :-/
I see I'm not the only one who immediately thought, "Mona Lisa!" Maybe that's the secret to Mona Lisa, she's trying to suppress a giggle. Gorgeous picture. All the lighting and textures, yum.
Thank you. I thought the curls in her hair against the crinkly leather of the chair she was sitting on provided a lovely contrast.
