A pair of my good friends (victorine and w0rl0ck) had to leave New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit. They lived in the French Quarter and, as of yet, have been unable to return home. They run, or rather ran, a gothy-geeky t-shirt company out of their apartment. Although they lost access to their printing press due to the flooding, they have managed to cobble together the resources to continue producing shirts in their temporary lodgings in Texas. They've designed a shirt dedicated to the rebuilding of NOLA. For each t-shirt purchase, they'll split a $10 donation between the Lousiana Disaster Recovery Fund and Tipitina's New Orleans Artist Relief Fund. So, if you have a few extra dollars lying around, you can help both a lovely couple who desperately want to go home and many other Katrina refugees.
