I've put up my first gallery of photos from the Olympus EVOLT E-300. There's a mixture of black-and-white, sepia and color images, as I spent a lot of time playing with the settings.

I took this while descending the steps to the Edinburgh Castle military prison cells. The moment I viewed it, even on the tiny LCD screen, I fell in love with this camera. Click it to view the rest (25 total).

Ni aqui ni en Valladolid

You have an excellent eye, and the camera's a winner. I particularly enjoy the cemetary shots and appreciate the subtly Burtonesque, almost-creeping spookiness of the shot taken from the Edinburgh castle ramparts. I agree that the Scott Monument has secretly dark designs on the foundations of the rest of the buildings nearby.

Are the Spanish at war with Scotland?

I think the Scott Monument may already have taken out several rival structures. I think it may have also formed an alliance with the verge - its surrounding trees have a burly, roughneck appearance.
