I hadn't thought of her that way, but you're right.

I'm honored that you think so. My little 3.2 megapixel point-and-shoot is nearing retirement.

Your trip sounds fantastic. Do you write your commentaries as you go or when you get back from holiday? I find I'm usually too buggered to do my holidays justice when I leave it all until I get back, but then I'm too busy doing stuff when I am away to write anything down. I guess I'm still not one with my lj...*l*

I have to write immediately, so I steal moments on buses, in cars, or at the pub, usually in a notebook. Most of my LJ entries start off in my notebook, actually.

I'm very much enjoying both the stories and the pictures.
I am much jealous, indeed. Ireland is gorgeous.

One day I'll get to travel, although with my luck by then Daniel will be so worn out with business trips he'll refuse to contemplate it ;-P

Thank you very much.

Soon I will be done with this and will be able to catch up on the mountain of personal correspondence I owe, including yours.

Would you consider going traveling on your own or with friends? I find being completely on my own a bit scary as well as lonesome, which is why I like to go with friends, or to visit friends, if I can't go with Marco.

Don't worry about us, we're patient types :-)

I would consider travelling with friends, and I've done it a bit, just on a national scale. But I hate travelling by myself, because there's no-one to talk about all the exciting stuff with, so it's less fun. I've also done some travelling with family, and that can be enjoyable as well (but my family are sort of crazy, so that's probably why)
