Day 31/183: Keeping score

An Exchange between Bloke and Me

Him: Your turn to read stories tonight.
Me: Nope!
Him: What! I did the last three nights.
Me: You were away for 5 consecutive nights before that.
Him: You’re going away next month!
Me: For 11 nights. You had already been away 15 consecutive nights prior to the most recent absence. That still leaves the deficit considerably in my favour.
Him: Not that you’re counting.
Me: Always counting. ALWAYS. -.-
