Day 336/365: Family [20181202|21:22]

Spent the weekend with these three sillies.

We got the central heating fixed (without having to purchase a new boiler!), and we procured and decorated our Christmas tree. Humuhumu did her gymnastics badge at her last session of the year. She and Keiki went to their swimming lessons and did passably well.

This next week is going to involve a lot of one parent or the other not being home in the evening, so it felt important to spend time together, even if we didn't do much other than cuddle and play games or watch TV.

Indeed. It has now been fixed for 130 hours (not that I'm counting...) which is five times longer than any of the previous intervals since it started breaking.

130 hours probably sounds a fair bit longer than it actually is. Nevertheless, I hope that figure will multiply itself by 100 or so!

It's still working. Fingers crossed we get a reprieve for the rest of the winter. Replacing it in summer when it's not as critical and we've had time to save would be a lot less stressful...
