Brown argus butterflies
Brown argus butterflies on the oregano! This has been such a great summer for new species of butterfly visitors in our garden.

The colouring of these was so lovely. I think they must have been fairly new. :)

Oh, thank you. I do take hundreds of shots and delete most of them. Some of capturing flying insects on camera is a result of practise, but some of it is definitely luck as well! And having a gigantic, flowering oregano plant. The oregano plant is a critical component of the formula.
