Poll #1970058 Professionalism. And lunch. (Especially lunch.)

Inserting a Spaceballs reference to a Serious Space Science presentation that someone else is giving is

A laudable action and should be done as often as possible
16(94.1%)
A terribly unprofessional idea and I do hope you're going to take that out beforehand?
1(5.9%)

Friday lunch?

Should be Friday fish and chips, of course.
8(36.4%)
Mmm, curry.
8(36.4%)
Just a sandiwch at my desk. Sigh.

...I feel that your sandwiches are lacking the level of (a) delight, (b) joy and (c) stomach-filling ability that, quite frankly, they should. I am deeply sorry to hear of it.

Sometimes that is true. The sandwiches at my work ara distinctly lack in the (a) and (b) departments, though they certainly are (c). When the bloke makes our sandwiches, however, they attain the standards you describe.

I still think eating lunch at your desk is inherently depressing, though.

Does England have very good sandwich shops?

If you make your own lunch, what do you have? Do you have a cool lunch box? I have an Igloo Playmate, and always tell people that just like Hugh Hefner, I bring my playmate to work with me!

Yes, yes it does. Sadly none of these are located on campus. :P

I tend to bring a sandwich (usually a variation on meat-cheese-lettuce-pickle(UK)). I don't have a lunch box as my rucksack is rather streamlined, so I just use zip-lock bags.
